If you had five minutes on stage, what would you say? What if you only got 20 slides and they rotated automatically after 15 seconds? Around the world passionate folks have been putting together Ignite events to show their answers.

History

Ignite was started in Seattle in 2006 by Brady Forrest of O’Reilly Radar and Bre Pettis, formerly of MAKE Magazine. Since then hundreds of 5 minute talks have been given across the globe. Besides Seattle, there are thriving Ignite communities in Charlotte, Phoenix, Portland, Raleigh, Hyderabad, Sydney and NYC, just to name a few.
